Yep, A 3dsMax rig! But with all the cool features you'd expect.
The idea is to have a strong fighter that can quickly dive on an ennemy. His role would mainly be jungle champion, so i'll have to be fast and powerful at the same time.
I've started by his ultimate. Already played with some poses and spacing, but nothing definitive yet...
Long story short, I think I might have rushed a little. I wanted to animate straight away and I didn't take time to thin k about the concept / personnality of my champion
So I took a few steps back and I decided you make a drunken master !!!
Hi @Maccam really cool idea. Drunk style boxing is great! i think at the end before doing the flip you can play with a longer anticipation so we expect a great move and then he flops!! i like the timing how he grabs the bottle, the only thing that caught my eye was how rigid the arm looks when throws the bottle away. Would be great if you can post front and side view. good work
I've be doing some light adjustements on the walk loop (I wasn't satisfied with that head movement)
Also, here's the update of the recall animation
I tried to improve the anticipation before the flip, but it's kinda hard with only 8 seconds not to touch the timing of the rest of the animation. And at least, I started animating the belt a bit
First of all, I wish you all a Happy New Year for 2018 !!!
So, I've improved the recall animation. I added more overall movement and derformations so the character looks more drunk, and i made the bottle stretchable
Now i have to finish the overlaps (belt) and the walk animation... there's no much time left but i'll do my best
looks great! you got the skillz to pay the billz szon! it'd be nice if you exaggerated wobble abit more before he picks up the bottle, if its meant to be a drunken wobble that is. Also offset one of the legs as it falls to the floor at the end would be nice.
ncie one! one thing though when he drinks his chest pops rather stomach should | or try adding wave from mouth to stomach to it will feel like drinks is going in

Sorry I took some time to update, but here's the first post
I'll use a rig from Watchmeanimate, called Jaego (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XELoydqs9mQ)

No observation so far.
Ok, so I basically completely started over...

So here's a draft of the walk cycle (movement speed is the same as Lee Sin: 345)
It appears that animating a drunken walk isn't easy x)
I'll take some time to think about the other animation, but with that character I'll probably do a recall (with some sweet training moves)
Thanks for reading, and C&C always welcome !
I've been worjing on a recall animation.
Here's some drunken warrior... practice!

I'm far from finished, but any critique is welcome
Cheers!
I improved the recall animation, tweaked the timing and tried to make the character look more dizzy
I'll work on that soon. in the meantime I edited my previous post so you have the front and side view.

Here's a little update. I've changed some timings (mostly when he drinks) and tried to have clearer poses.
Also don't mind the belt... I'm not done with it x)
I'm not quite satisfied with the left arm, but still, here it goes:

I've exagerated the whole animation, and found a way to animate the belly (had to slightly modify the rig to do so).
So here's my submission! There's still a lot of room for improvment.

I can't wait to see the other finished animations
