This is my first polycount contest and I am very excited. I am not a person of many words, so let´s get right into it!
I´ve had this idea for a while now. Rakan is my absolute favourite champion! And also I love pirates. So I thought... "Rakan would make quite a handsome pirate!". So... Yeah!

Characteristics I want to try to communicate
Well, not satisfied at all... some early concepts that didnt really turn out like I imagined ^^
Will probably go for a mix between 2 and 8, though I really want him to have a cape...

I want him to be the entertainer and dancer for the crew, but being respected and kinda loved at the same time... capturing everyones attention with his charm
Can`t decide between 1 and 2...
Probably going to keep the clothes of the upper body more simple and not too much, don`t want it to look overloaded. So no cape for Pirate Rakan...
So, which direction should I go for?
Or maybe completely without the cape and only use the shoulder armor? I dunno
Could be neat to play with parrot feathers for the cloak isntead of just fabric.

Made some progress with the cape and added the arm guards
I will probably go for 2 or 4 with the leather straps of 3 I guess ^^
I dont know what to take!
I kinda like the scars from number 3 and 5 and the hairstyles from 2, 3, 5 and 7
Do you guys have any suggestions? Feedback would be awesome
I think 2 and 3 are the most fitting
(Also, I feel like Rakan's Shorter, puffed up hairstyle is a really big read for his model, so be careful with making the hair too long, it may not read too much like him anymore!)
But it looks really cool cant wait for the final art!

I think I will be adding feathers instead of the bandana fabric hanging down and I will make the hair more puffy. Probs going to make two different versions with the first and third hairstyle to see what fits best

Tried some more static poses, the second one showing his charming character (beeing able to seduce everyone, even men)
Sooooo... I think I am going to go for this one. It shows him using his ult, dashing through enemies and charming them.
I think it shows his personality and characteristics I want to communicate somehow, jumping right into the crowd and being the feisty and reckless pirate. And of course, the center of attention.
What do you guys think? Feedback would be awesome!
