Maya - Curve Warp - mesh distorted.

Hello,

Today i tried to model a simple elevated highway. 
I created piece below.

-duplicated it about a 100 times
-Merged all verts 
-deleted history
- used " Curve Warp" deformer along the curve.

The result is below.
As you can see most of the model is good however every couple of instances (not technically instances because the model is merged) I get this weired effect. marked in red below. looks like verts are stretching. 


I tried:
- unlock the normals on the model and it did not work. 
- increase Sampling Accuracy however this only moved the issue between instances.


Could you please help me? 
Is there any better way to create this model (elevated highway)?
