[WIP] Mech pilot: Cronus and Titan

Hey everyone!

Starting up a new big project, looking forward to creating this one

Character Backstory:

Cronus Ark grew up in a small town near by a big city both were situated by a large river in the middle of a desert. He spent most of his youth carefree and explored his passion of mechanical engineering, he dreamed of creating machines that would help the sick and injured regain a normal life. As he grew up through life he graduated from College in the nearby city and fell in love. Starting a family and having a stable job as an applied engineer his life seemed to be heading into a bright future.

On his daughter’s 11th birthday, an invading nation attack, jealous of the country's riches.  Cronus could not sit by, after a attack had nearly killed him and his family. So he got to work and built a machine from part of old projects and new to protect his home and fellow countrymen.

Tools: Photoshop, Maya LT, Zbrush, Xnormal, Substance painter.

Rendering: Marmoset OR Unreal Engine 4

    Hey there ,

    Pretty cool project ! 
    I think you should explore his back story in depth , which could lead to really nice design :
    -What is his mechanical sophistication => does he know how to use hydraulics/electronics/magnetics/solar or nuclear energy and so on 
    -Whats his environment and what material can he gather => will robot be some old junker made of rusty tractor or pile of scrap or anything that can be salvage around his house or some how he manage to found some military grade parts or some rare materials which can be melted and turned to what ever (crash UFO :))
    Think about it this is the fun part - you will spend weeks on month on it so it better be something interesting and well thought 
    Also you should push your silhouettes further , try wild things , right now you have pretty much same thing with different number
