Latest progress:
Hello!
I started modeling a TIE fighter as a small side project/modeling practice a few days ago.
Still missing a few details but it the model itself is slowly coming along.
Not sure how long this will take me to finish as I am only working on it every now and then along my university stuff but I do plan to eventually finish it, so that's why I am creating the thread here. Also, as always, I really appreciate all feedback I can get.
Currently at 130k tris, aiming for a kind of cinematic resolution below 200k.

Will texture it in the next couple days.
Current lighting is just quickly thrown together right now and kinda sucks, planning to do some proper presentation shots next.
Also thinking about modeling a small hangar to give it some background.
Here is a first render test I did:
Textured in Quixel Suite, rendered in Redshift - was a great little opportunity to get some experience with offline renderer as opposed to the realtime stuff I usually do.
Would love to hear some feedback as I have not done too much hard surface work so far and never used Redshift before.
Glad you like it!
