Wow amazing presentation. I wish I could help you out by critiquing your work. Instead though I ask you to forgive me for asking; would you mind telling me a brief explanation how you did the first image render? Its brilliant ^ ^

thank you very much man !! yeah sure heres a break down
most of it was done in post so I just got a normal render from keyshot, I think I used the default lighting set up. Then I brought it into photoshop and went to select - color range and selected the lightest value on the model, and brought the fuzziness down to a point where it looks like theres a single light source coming, then press ok and copy and paste it into a different file then...

 

Adjust the different colors and add some scratch and dust texture. So yeah thats probably it tbh theres probably a better way of doing it but I was just messing around in photoshop and got that render, So I hope that helped

haha its supposed to be leaves so I guess you're right to some extent
