I hope you can help me with a problem I've been having?
So the first issue is creating a gradient from the outside edge inwards. Something similar to the image below is what I want but I need it to have hard corners.....

As you can see in the image below, I've created a gradient which is close to what I want, with the shape I want. However the gradient only effects left to right but not up and down......

Is there a way to create a nice box gradient which goes from the edges of your shape inwards and not just one direction but all? Thanks to anyone who can help.
Lastly, I want to change the angle of my pattern. I was able to change the pattern angle with the below settings but it's not exactly the angle I want...

Using the transform node to get the angle I want breaks the tiling as seen below...

How can I get this angle while not breaking the tiling.

Rotation is harder, Personally I'd make something with an fx map, otherwise you're left with eyeballing it
