Hi there, firstly I suck at uv'ing. especially on large buildings. I have modelled a large aeroplane hangar with interior and side rooms (all non modular). when automatic mapping the building it looks ok except for the texel density is all over the place, and some of the u.vs are on their side (which i tried remedying with the layout and optimize function in the u.v editor), further more when it exported to substance the resolution on the texture is way too pixilated (seemingly the only way to slightly help is by bumping the model resolution from 2048 to 4k, which is not really viable in most g.engines atm as i've been led to understand) ....basically what im trying to ask is how would i go about u.v'ing a large building model with side rooms etc, i have searched high and low on youtube for a tutorial, can find some on 3ds max but none on maya. I am desperate to nail this as it's one of the things that is holding me back, any help would be much appreciated.

Regards
