More Substance Please

So as my journey into the Substance Designer world gets deeper and deeper, I enjoy it more and more. I truly hope I end up with a job where my sole job is working in Substance Designer. Thanks Allegorithmic for creating this beautiful software! Every time I create a new material I'll post it here.

My first material to display is one I created yesterday, for the Beyond Skyrim: Morrowind mod. I was asked to create a dark granite material for large rock structures. After looking around for inspiration I decided on a shale-style cliff face.

This is nice! I can see it used more for a floor than a wall, as the erosion pattern more matches a wind/rainswept cliff top. Looking at some pictures shale seems to erode more inwardly/horizontally, instead of the downward patterns seen here. Not really a big deal and won't make any difference in game.

Stone floor for the Ancestral Tomb - Morrowind.

Here's some ceiling tiles I did for the ceiling of the ancestral tomb. (updated)

A material I made for the tomb's wall. Going to create a few of the tile pieces and then my lead and I are going to discuss colour preference of the tribal style design. I painted the design in ZBrush and transferred it over as an alpha into Designer.
