I like the colors and overall style, but for me there is a disconnect between the middle and background (value and perhaps also perspective wise). There is a harsh value difference between middle and background and almost no value change within the backgound. So to me it almost looks like a painted vertical canvas placed behind the middle ground or at least the street leading up the hill being implausibly steep. (Unless they are supposed to be stairs).
@Noren I see what you mean, I was trying to make the mid ground building stand out, suppose to be my focus point. I will try lowering contrast at the top of the hill, and make the path more curvy and broad maybe. Thanks for your feedback!
I like the style of the buildings.. something small, but what pops out to me right away is the relatively uniform spacing of all of the buildings. You might want to group them into interesting silhouettes.
@Noren ha yes! I have a uniform layer of sunlite coming down behind MG, I should silhouette the mid ground with it rather, thanks! @EricElwell I see what you mean, great idea! and you mean the bg buildings right?
