Reminds me of those "design a logo" contests that were so prevalent a few years back. It's sponsored content, where the sponsor is getting free concept art, followed by what looks like a pitch for free models later in the year. Doesn't sit quite right with me, but that may just be me.

You think this is done to earn some free ideas and save money perhaps? Because the prices cost (in retail) 5k as they say. To them it might cost half of it, but for a customer, it is 5k
