Substance Painter running on wrong GPU

Hey guys, I've been using substance painter at work, home, and school for the past year. But for some reason it's trying to open it with Intel Graphics 530, but I have a dedicated GTX 970. I tried to change the "Preferred graphics processor" in nvidia control panel, but the option doesn't exist (see below). I even reinstalled my GPU drivers in GeForce Experience, but nothing. Any help please?

Perhaps see if you can disable the onboard gpu in your BIOS if you don't need it at all.

Sometimes, the setting is actually located in the Intel integrated grphics driver rather than the NVidia driver settings.

You can also "disable" the Intel GPU in the device manager of Windows, Substance Painter will then switch to the right GPU at launch.

OMG yes, I had the same issue, disabling the Intel GPU worked. but my screen went black. Good thing I was on a desktop so I can plug my display to another port. it worked somehow. JUST BE CAREFUL, YOUR SCREEN MIGHT GO BLACK TOO! if you only have one screen it will be a nightmare.
