Currently working on a weapon game asset.
Wanted to do a small handgun mainly because I thought it would be easy. But I quickly realized the vast amount of details that difference from different manufacturer and production year.
Polycount is around 3500 tris but there is a lot of improvements that can be done.
Modeling is done in Maya and going to texture it in Substance Painter. Renders are done in Marmoset Toolbag.

Started to play around some in Substance painter and add basic materials.
Also added a cloth surface to create a more interesting scene.
Finally got some more time to work on my PPK.
Some of the work have been on small details on both high and lowpoly model. I have created a more efficient UV layout and the same pixel density over all UV islands.
Playing around with some wear and dirt using substance painter smart mask and then paint over to add or remove details were I want them.
