Hi everyone almost two months before i started building this environment with the idea of it being my first portfolio piece, (it also is my first game environment in general) i really enjoyed the process making it and learned a lot,  but now that i have "finished" it i dont know if i like it , i would really appreciate some critiques.

That's how I usually feel. When I finish something, I start to critique it until it hurts.

This looks really cool, you did a good job on it! The scratched on the back of the chair look a bit weird, and the wood texture for the chair doesn't seem woody enough. The stone wall looks nice but there isn't a visible material difference between the stone and the mortar. The carpet looks absolutely amazing, and the props, lighting, and mood are really great. You did well!

Thanks for feedback guys. Ashervisaslis i agree that i added too much scratches , now for the wood part i think it looks nice in substance painter so maybe its the lighting. Also retro dive bar looks a cool concept to work on i hope you're having fun. wirrexx I dont know if i can do that :D thanks.

I would agree with @Ashervisalis that you need to show the separation of the stone and grout. I also feel like everything is a little too dark.

take my opinion with a grain of salt though cause I'm not an environment artist.

Looks really good but I would lighten up the scene and tone the fog back a bit. Looks like you have no GI.

Out of interest, could we see a render of the chair in Substance Painter?

Hi again. Here is the chair in sp. Let me know what you think. Unfortunately i don't have the spp file to tweak it, should i start again? Now for the wall texture i also have this material i made in designer but i don't think it fits. Bletzkarn i did lower the fog, i don't have gi because i'm using dynamic lights. That is because i'm really noob whith lighting and only recently i started watching some videos on youtube, so i think i will revisit this scene once i'm done watching those videos. Thanks for your help guys.

Good start. I would focus on just one object for now and nail it. The scene lacks focus, lots of texturing work and material definition. Everything kinda looks like it's made of the same material.

David-J thanks for the advice i will be focusing more on individual objects in the future. I think the reason that a lot of the materials are looking similar to each other is because i don't have a large variety of props. Could you be more specific?
