Our team had to downgrade to 2016 for a gig, and the viewport is taking its sweet time when I make simple stuff like connect vertices. It has a fade in/out when making modeling operations, and it'll only fully update once I move around in the viewport.

I would like it to go back the way it was if possible, where the change was instant. I know 2017 doesn't have this issue, and I'm wondering if this is not really a technical bug, but rather a "cool new" feature Autodesk put in this release and activated on default like the yellow outlines.
Still haven't installed SP3; asking if anyone knows if this is something that can be fixed without doing so.
