Hey guys, been using Max for about 3 years now and I've finally had my fill of it in terms of price, bugs and crashes.
I've been dabbling in Modo for about 2 weeks and so far I'm really enjoying it - I want to start using it full time, however.. I'm struggling to find a good in-depth tutorial and was hoping that someone here could recommend one to me?

Specifically game art, an example would be props, environment modelling, highpoly and lowpoly modeling.
this channel has A LOT of useful hint/tips. you also might check out vaughn in 60 seconds.
Never got the 'hang' of working with ADSK apps. Had initially trialled max back in 2009 when looking too switch from Blender after 5yrs diligently digging down into all things sub-d hardsurface. I guess for me in the end really came down to workflow efficiency/effectiveness outputting a certain aesthetic which IMO max couldn't quite get there...
Anyway as for your query, I'd second the above Tor Frick plug, his Gumroad channel especially is a MUST watch if you're into hardsurface stuff plus a list of other assorted resources can be found here on Steam.
Also the modo website has a great bit of little tutorials from Brad Peebler who does an excellent job of teaching.
