$500 USD for 200+ animations ?

I encountered a client here in the forums who was only willing to pay $500 USD for 200+ unique/custom styled professionally authored in game animations and APEX cloth support for 2 characters.  He is claiming that a professional artist/animator has agreed to do the work. 

Curious if there are any skilled professionals here who would do this kind and amount of work for that price point  

If interested let me know because at that price point I want to hire you for all of our projects.

And after working 3 months for that money i will eat and feed my children for a whole week!

but i need it in 2 weeks. not 3 months. 

so i need10, 2-3 second each, fully polished game animations per day.  every day. for a total of $500. 

still interested ?  me either.  

And that is my point.  Everyone here on this forum (or any forum) needs to make it inconvenient for these opportunists to take advantage of us. It devalues our work and our role in the industry.

Clueless people like this is common, it's not their fault, however they should be doing their research before attempting to hire us, because they end up looking silly.

It will be great to hear from you. 

And leave the message at that, if their interested and serious about the work, then they will message.

It's a basic template idea but it sorts out the opportunists from the serious ones without wasting your valuable time.

he was a scammer. he was running multiple profiles from same ip address. i reported to mods and they banned his ip

i think he was copy/pasting details about how he wanted the process done as opposed to writing it himself. 

not to to mention that he wouldn't divulge his real identity, an email or similar. rule #1- Ive been doing this kind of work for over a decade. And anyone that can't be transparent about their identity means they have something to hide. my details are public- anonymity has no place in business.

I agree. I can understand if they don't want to give out their personal email, but a company email if you're trying to hire someone... That's just basic stuff. 
Also being able to go further into what you actually want/need when someone asks.

$500 is about 20-25 hours of work. That gives you 6 minutes per animation. Basically you deliver him 200 animations made in 6 - 7 minutes each. That's what he's paying for essentially. You get what you pay for.
