having issue with intuos 4 medium

Hi everyone
I have been using my intuos 4 medium for few years now, and recently i have been facing some years regarding surface I think. Its like when i try sculpting (Zbrush) or when i try moving my stylus left to right on the surface, it sometimes either stops sculpting for a second or sometimes just opens the zbrush popup menu (the same menu when pressing space). I sometimes use a soft cloth and rub the surface of the tablet and seems to be working fine for a while. I am not sure if the surface is extremely worn out and I should replace it or is it some issue regarding hardware.

Troubleshooting wise, is your USB input to the tablet finnicky at all, or loose?

yup...the cable seems to be tightly plugged in, in both ends

I have issues with mine as well. If I lift the pen up it will sort of 'disconnect' for 10-12 seconds and then the mouse will teleport across the screen before I'm able to use the pen again. It's super freaking annoying. Doesn't happen every time the pen lifts up but probably a good third of the time, at least.

I believe we are facing hardware issue...I just bought a surface replacement sheet from ebay....i hope this might solve my issue. If it doesnt, Ill consider of getting a new one. Never go for intuos!!!

Really?  Intuos has been nice to me, and I've beaten up and eaten over my Wacome Intuos 4 Pro a lot.

Most probably ill move to bamboo edition

plus Im having issues with pen pressure...doesnt seem to be working...I have installed the drivers several times too...
