Is it impossible to get a perfect diffuse color bake? because when i do it i always get a few pixels wrong and it affects my mask when i want to add a texture. Is it possible to get a perfect bake in max so i don't have to manually clean up the image in photoshop?
i use rgb colors so i can extract them from the channels to get a good mask.

If you look closely there are a bunch of pixels wrong.

Sorry i'm new to baking but i tried turning off antialiasing and filtering (filter maps?) and i still have noise but i was using scanline renderer, so i tried using NVIDIA mental ray and that seemed to work! though the edges are a bit fuzzier than with scanline.
    This is with scanline (changing
antialiasing and filtering doesn't seem to change it)

And this is with NVIDIA mental ray

This is how the diffuse looks in photoshop

Not sure if you meant this setting but it didn't change anything i think.

So i think i'm just going to use NVIDIA mental ray unless anybody else has any ideas. Thanks everybody for the help!  i'm just new using max to bake my own texture maps and all the settings complicate things, Does anybody knows any good tutorials on baking perfect diffuse maps?
