Hi polycounters. I've been modelling for about a year now just for personal stuff to hammer down my techniques hoping to get a job in the industry at some point in the not to distant future. This is the first model I've ever submitted for public comment. It is of a mecha from an old cartoon series called the Macross Saga (Robotech in the US). I have tried to be as true to the form as possible given that there are no decent blueprint drawings to model off. It's also the first model I have ever used substance painter on so I am sure there is a lot of improvement to be made there as well. It's supposed to look old beat up slightly rusted and battle-worn. The low detail mesh has a poly count of 8094, the high detail bake has a poly count of 16878. Questions Comments and critique are more than welcome.
