Ferahgo the Assassin a character by Brian Jacque based loosely off an illustration by Gary Chalk. Modeled in Zbrush and so far a dagger & sheath in Maya. WiP but c&c are always welcome.
I immediately recognized the Redwall series before even reading your post, thanks for the nostalgia!
I would suggest revisiting the topology. This creature is by nature very cylindrical so most of the edge flow should follow the cross-section of the torso and limbs (I'm especially looking at the forearms). Also, most of the edge loops should be evenly spaced apart, with a few extra loops at the limb joints cuz that's really the only areas that need them. That should help make posing a lot easier and feel more natural!

Update on model sculpt/lp/rig & pose:
I’ll be trying it out. Normally use max to set up alpha planes, noticed that marmoset toolkit had a tut for them aswell. Is that what you use?

I’m glad Justin & my mistake, was an old wireframe shot.
