Answered: NDO Stitches Mask for Use in DDO

Hi,

I want to sculpt some stitches in NDO.  Once I have sculpted them, I want to then paint them in DDO.  Is there a way to get a mask of the stitches I sculpted in NDO so I can easily paint them in DDO?

I am a newbie.  Please forgive me if the question is rudimentary

Select the stitch layer's transparency by CTRL+LMB on the layer thumbnail, then create a new layer and fill that with white. Copy and paste that layer into your DDO layer stack. Once you've done this, visit my DDO tutorial and CTRL+F to "Masking Without Color IDs" for the rest of the process.
