Swamp Environment Concept Feedback

Hey guys! 
I am planning on making a 3D environment. I wanted a swamp area that felt slightly different from the real world, but at the same time not too much. I was wondering if some of you could give me feedback on my concept. Could be anything  from composition, to color, to more subject base stuff. Also if you have any suggestions for what to add let me know (keeping in mind that I need to make the environment on my own)!

Well if you want a subtle different feel than the real world I would play around with different colors for the atmosphere and sky. A Erie green or a slightly luminescent yellow would definitely give off an other worldly vibe. Lovely painting btw.

@Dezzipixels thanks for the feedback! I think that a colored sky might be a little too... alien I guess. coming to think of it I think I'm going to stick to making this as though it exists in the real world, but thanks for the suggestion!
