Hey guys,
looking for a script that can set a different material ID per element in 3ds Max. Currently all the scripts I've found randomize it; resulting in some elements having the same ID.
Thank you in advance!

If there's less than 65536 elements, this will do the job:

@oglu
Not sure; I've never had to work with more than 50 ID's.
@Swordslayer
- Thanks for that! One question though. How would I create something like that? Is it a visual script such as Unreal Engines blueprints?

What Swordslayer posted is a 3DSMax 'Creation Graph' , Maxs built in node-based scripting system.
It's only available in Max 2016 and newer though.
