We are looking for additional people to join our ranks and help us develop our current game: "Essengine". Currently, it is unpaid work, but we are meeting with potential investors and preparing a Kickstarter campaign, so the idea is that you would eventually be compensated.
Right now, we are looking for artists who can fill one or more of these roles:
- 2D/3D Environment /Prop Artist
- Character Animator
The art style we are aiming for is somewhere in between Torchlight 2, Diablo 3, Dota 2 and Battlerite. The tone of our game is a bit more gritty and dark than usual in the genre, and thus that has to be reflected in the environment design as well. 
Essengine is a tactical Turn-Based Monster-Tamer game, where the player crawls through procedurally generated dungeons. The game heavily revolves around using monster abilities and powers to conceive new and unique approaches to combat! The game mixes fantasy and dieselpunk elements, creating a unique blend of tone and mood throughout the experience.
You will get to work in a trademarked company, with the engine (Unity) and some of the licenses ready to go. The company also has strong ties and networking within the game industry, with well-known people in the indie scene who have experience in producing and publishing video games. This project is considered professional-level, so a certain level of quality and work ethic is expected.
- You need to be 18 years or older.
- A passion for playing and making video games.
- Proficiency in English.
- You have to be regularly available online or locally multiple times a week (usually in the evening).
- A dedication to fulfilling deadlines on time.
- Be communicative and able to work well together with other colleagues.
- A portfolio ready to show off your work.
- Be able to work in Trello and Discord.
