Hi guys.  I saw couple days ago trailer Blade Runner 2049. And I want to copy one shot from that


Main focus for me is face emotion and lights.

But for practice I started from scratch


As I didn't make faces like popular actors its very hard to achieve right shapes. I will appreciate any advice.

For gun I will use ready model from internet as its almost unfocused at that shot. I want to finish that in one week or so.

Hi. I just sent model to photoshop by Zapplink and cover face with usual front photo. As i did much tweaks before, photo nice fited on that face. so its photo without any editing.

i think you're off to a good start, i would stay that right off the bat his jacket is unnecessarily thick, also dbl check your proportions on the face, something is off.  I would start by gathering as much reference as I could on him to have plenty of references from different angles
