Overview
Studio Vinari is a small game developer based in Barcelona, Spain. We are currently working on a project with great potential, and are in the process of constructing a Kickstarter campaign to fund its development costs.We are seeking a skilled 2D illustrator with experience in creating character sheets for characters for highly-stylised cel-shaded games for an immediate start, or as close to immediate as possible. The art style is a hybrid of cel-shaded games like Ni No Kuni and Okami, and the character design from the cartoon series Archer.
The game's characters are based on real people, so need to be recognisable as them. We have already secured the licensing rights to create this project.
The commission
We require one to two character sheets to be created from photographs which will be used by our 3D modellers to create models for use in our Kickstarter campaign for this project.We are aiming to launch the Kickstarter campaign in around 6 weeks' time.
The character sheets will need to match the style of our existing character sheets.
After the Kickstarter campaign is successfully funded, we would look to discuss the next stage of the project with you, as there is the potential of several solid months' worth of illustration work available after this point if you wish to take it on.

This commission is for the character sheets for the models which we will be using in our proof-of-concept and Kickstarter campaign. If you are still available after the campaign has successfully funded, we would then look to discuss the next stage of the project with you.The ideals listed above (except for 'an open mind'!) are negotiable. If you have experience creating character sheets, or are an accomplished graphic novel illustrator, please do contact us regardless.
This project is under an NDA until the launch of the Kickstarter campaign, thus we will be able to give more in-depth details about the project and examples of the art style you will need to match after receiving your e-mail.
This is a remote position, so as long as you're available you can be based anywhere in the world.
