Pirate Themed Still Life

Hey everyone! Here's a new piece that I started working on a few days ago. I'm going to try and do a better job of regularly documenting my progress. 

The original concept is by Lena Novikova.




I'm starting off by just roughly blocking out each object relative to each other - focusing on form and proportion.

I've decided that I'm going to use a FFD modifier on the chest, instead of modeling it with a bend already in it. I'm still trying to decide how I want to tackle the flag...
