Maya 2016 xGen not rendering by VRay

Does anyone had trouble with rendering xGen hjair and fur with Vray? I used Maya Monday tutorial on xGen, but any xgen stuff I make does not render by vray - it's simply missing from the scene. Is there a fix for that or is it just my bad luck?
