Been at work at this for two years now, off and on. I use Maya, xNormal, and Substance Designer/Painter. If blocky is wrong, I don't want to be right- I love the aesthetic of those 90's weapons. Renders are straight from UE4 albeit with staged lighting not representative of the lighting you'd see them under in games (I used key, fill, rim, and an HDR image probe for extra kick)
