Barbedwire studios is looking for two new environment artists to join the team to help the development of Gates of Hell.
Gates of Hell is a historical/realism action-based RTS based on the GEM2 game engine by Best Way.
The game is aimed at the RTS and third person market (the game contains a hybrid top down shooter as well), and more so to the realism niche, portraying WWII at its grittiest, without sparing historical details and fully conveying the atmosphere of war. Currently developing the Eastern Front for release, we plan to expand to the other theatres in the future to make a unique RTS that focuses on the visual authenticity of war for maximum immersion.

Responsibilities
Create assets that fit the artistic style of gates of hell
Create low poly models such as buildings and props
Any 3D modelling software capable of lowpoly mesh making and unwrapping is compatible, although only Autodesk 3ds max is used for exporting the assets into the game.
(optional) Export assets to the game engine (gem2) with the help of the exporting team [Requires 3ds max 2012 or 2015]
Documentation and guides for the workflow is provided upon candidate submission.
Payment
Payment is negotiable and paid upon release of the project (2018). The development team currently runs on no budget.
