Hi, I'm relatively new to 3D modeling and starting to get into it. Now on our university we use Maya and I have started learning the basics with the program. Since I'm probably going to do an internship next year in that direction, I'm currently trying to evolve my skills in that program.

Now i have the opportunity to get into an internship at a company that uses 3DSmax. It's not certain yet but let's just say it was. What should I do? We work with Maya at our university and I need it for the lessons and projects there. But at the same time i feel like I should learn 3DSmax instead when I'm attending to an internship that uses this program next year.

How difficult is it to switch between the two? Should I learn both of them at once or start with Maya and try to convert my knowledge to 3DSmax before the internship starts?

Thanks in advance.
