Hey Everyone! It's been way to long since I've started a thread. I've started a gas station environment inspired by some stills from different films and tv. I've always been drawn to the aesthetic and allure of mundane yet mysterious shots, so I really hope I can capture that feeling by the end of this project.
Here's a few of the many inspirations i'll be referencing along the way
Latest Update:
Over the last week or so I've been modeling a gas pump and was able to get it unwrapped and get it baked in painter tonight.
Critique would be much appreciated!

@pixelpatron and @undin I'll definitely be trying that out, I have emissive inputs and parameters in the master material I've made so far, I need to add a subsurface section as well and I can try both the 2 options and see what gives the best result.
@cmc444 Means a ton coming from you! I have all your stuff mixed in with some other artists that have done similar things to this as well as my progress screenshots on this scene. Really aiming to hit that level of quality and polish. Slowly but surely.
Anyways! Apologies for leaving this thread out to dry for so long! Got super busy at work the past 2 months finishing up a big milestone.
Got to start working on this again though finally! Getting some more stuff blocked in. I'm using weighted normals, tiling textures, and then mapping grunge trims on a separate uv set to add some unique details. Being able to just auto unwrap my blockout, bevel the edges and use weighted normals to get nice rounded edges without having to bake 1:1 is a huge time saver. Here's some progress of what i've been working on. Right now I'm continuing to blockout the main kiosk building.
