Problem with Polycount images not showing up?

I have a new laptop but the images on Polyount do not seem to be showing up unless they are linked from a host like Imgur. As you can see below this is how the Polycount Recap looks, have you got any ideas what it might be? its the same in Firefox, Chrome and IE.

The link on the small icon that I have pointed out below says the following? "us.v-cdn.net" so I take it my laptop has some kind of issue viewing images hosted on the Polycount server?

It seems to me that you dns is broken, something that you installed (or installed itself that's worse) might have compromised your dns resolver. What OS are you using? Could be some kind of malware.
Incredibly, I did write the entire answer in italian (my first language) before realizing it, I guess a question on polycount that made me go to my IT background made my brain very confused...
