Hi guys, im new here.I decided to create this topic to beter organize my work, have better place for my WIPs and unfinshed pieces and hopefully get some feedback from people more experienced than me. Im in to concept art and sculpting so you will see sketches from both 2d and 3d worlds. For the beggining i decided to make small personal challenge: make some concept sketches about different topic each day. And as bonus i uploaded my 2hr sketch in zbrush. I hope you like.

Another update for a challenge. I struggle with colors, I think there are too accidental. I need to understand it more and gain more confidence in this field.

I decided to push little further one from my previous sketches. I decided to make some character in the more realistic setting. This time something from early XXs. Gangster girl wearing man's clothes stolen from others, obviously there are too big for her but she made some enhancements to wear it. I wanted her to look more aggressive, I thought about some tattoos but It won't fit for this period, so I decided to add some scars and wounds on her face and arm to remind something like a tattoo. I think I must push it little further but I'm quite happy so far.

Hi guys,
I'm currently working on huts concept for one from my previous character. It would be a hut for an alien survivor who is living on medieval earth and pretends to be druid or protector of the forest. The character is inspired by Slavic mythology. I quite like this character, so I decided to make a home for him.

There are some sketches for a civil/military creature I'm doing during concept art lessons. First will be water searcher and carrier, and second will be aggressive mutant made for a fight. He is using a simple mechanism to inject powerful drug what makes animal even stronger and more aggressive.

After a while i came back to my characters from last year. I wasnt happy with results  and i decided to redesign them in my procreate app. I Did lineart and im fighting wit values and colors. It is what i did so far.

I like your work a lot. I think these designs are well thought-out, and nicely detailed. It's also great you start with a 3d blockout. This insures perspective continuity, making it much easier for a modeler to create 3D assets.

I'm curious to see some of the reference you're looking at while you design and paint. Love old northern European references!

Hi, I'm glad you like what I did.

I think work with 3D is great improvement in my workflow. I can check how your design will work in 3d enviroment even if I do stuff in my spare time. In production I can easly help team and myself with perspective and some details, which I havent in location layout. Here are some of WIPs for mill I did and also some references what I had for this project. I was even in real watermill with my friends to get some real life references and feel mood to project it to my design.

About Zbrush sketches I don't do it too much. I was focusing on my drawing and color skills using procreate last time, but I want to go back to sculpting in near future.
