Hi guys, i have been sculpting for about 4 months and i have been working on a character for about 2 of those 4 months (It's for my y12 major project). I would like to get some feedback on my work, some advice on how I can improve it and some advice on re topology.
Thank you
Here is my character and the concept (that i drew) which the character is based upon

Ok, if that's the case, you're gonna have to ram a lot of learning in a short amount of time.
As Slosh has said, right now your anatomical proportions are OFF. Your leg proportions do not balance with the arm proportions, making your rabbit samurai seem top heavy. Google for a human figure drawing proportion chart online, and notice how they measure most of the element lengths with "head lengths" usually. Legs and arms are usually a certain head length long for average human, or even heroic, bodies. There are other elements that are also not proportional like the feet, etc.
As with the armor, make sure you look into how samurai armor is constructed. They're not generally plate based as one huge, formed sheets like medieval armor. It's a lot of weaving and layering of plates. Take note of real actual reference of existing samuai armor and notice their design patterns and what is share between them all. It would help if you posted those references here so we can see what you're seeing while you're modeling.
It seems like youre in the block-in phase right now, so it is better to get these high level issues reslolved first before you commit to more detailss. You can't fix bad silhoutte during the textuing phase: that's a modeling phase issue.
If you don't want to show you can make a character asset that can be animated, that's fine, but that be the consequence you'd run into without some retopology.
I overlayed your sculpt and made a side by side comparison from a ref I googled.
the most obvious errors are the shorts legs, and shoulders are way to wide and blocky.

the dude is a killer and he's explaining most of the key element in a short amount of time.
gl !
( so yes buy it ! )
We need more shots and better closeups. Hard to see the details with just one image. It helps us a lot better if there's multiple images and cloesups.
Same issue with the front. There is no singular crevice coming from the collarbones to the mon pubis. Also, the bottom of the ribcage doesn't go down that low from the pectoral muscles.
What reference are you using for your anatomy?
Also, don't mistake the changes in colour on your current reference for depth. That's where your extended butt crack was coming from.
