The illustration contains an illegal operand

Hello,
Hoping someone can help me out here.

Does anyone use Adobe Illustrator graphic editor?

I get this "The illustration contains an illegal operand" message when I try to open .ai extension file with the help of Illustrator.
Why it is occurring?
