I'm having some weird isssues in Maya 2017 update 3, I'm creating my joints and when I rotate I get these 4 weird behaviors:
This is how I expect them to look:

Now, observe what happen when I simply orbit the camera around the model (in wireframe or shaded, x-ray or not, doesn't matter)
1. Joints disappear and only reappear if I select them in the outliner

2. A werid axis pops-up out of nowhere

3. This weird handle appears which looks like that gizmo from the IK and FK.

4. And these local rotation axes appears and the joints disappears, sometimes both gets visible, the joint and the axis

Does someone else had the same problem before? Thanks in advance.
