Tutorials for First Person and Third Person Animations

Hey there!
I'm brand new to the animation stuff in Maya (basic knowledge).
I would like to know more about how to animate first person and third person characters (Idle, Walk, Run, Jump etc.)
Has anyone good learning resources for getting started in animations for especially first person animations in video games?

Examples:
I'm creating an Arena shooter right now and these animations give me a good reference for what I want to archive!

All helpful resources are very welcome!

Thank you!

Not trying to be an arse but if you have zero animation experience then learning the 12 classic principles and starting with the bouncing ball excercises would be most beneficial. Animation is quite an in-depth and specialist subject that takes years to become proficient in.

Having little to no experience in CG and wanting to jump right in and make a game featuring fully animated 3d characters is naive.  Or do you only lack animation experience specifically?  It's unclear from your post. Perhaps give more info on where you're at now in terms of the game workflow/pipeline.
