Having a problem with the normal map causing these lines, this part shares the same uv island and smoothing group. Was wondering does anyone have any solutions? thanks
those are some hard angles for one smoothing group. You can either bevel the low poly (green edges) to make the bake project better (recommended) or you can separate areas (green faces) UVs and smoothing groups.
The hp looks good. Soften edges of the bolts and metal to get better bakes. As for presentation, use a darker material color w spec to better see the curvature of the model. Makes it easier to crit. Make sure to have at least one shot w the whole gun in frame btw.
Came out well! Nice job, i have a few gripes w the texture (rough splotches of wood lood strange) but mostly i just want to encourage you to post the shot you shared here on that artstation page. The only other shot of the full gun is a harsh angle
@Polygoblin will do in the future thanks!, as for the wood are you on a bout the wearing/damages? of the wood(tried something new with it this time so might not have came out as good as I had hoped)
