[WIP] Captain Hawkins - Real time character

Hello there !
I just started working on my new personal project, I chose this design from Brian Matyas :
I always liked pirates and I wanted to work on a male character for a while and it will be the occasion for me to work on more complex patterns on marvelous !
Even through I'm not going for likeness, I'll take inspiration from the Tv show Black sails, cause I think the concept is inspired by Toby Stephens's character, Captain Flint (but yeah I named him Hawkins cause I like to think that Jim Hawkins grew up and became a fancy pirate with a glorious mustache
)
So here is my first blockout of the face and body, C&C welcome !

@jaker3278 : are you talking about skin details like wrinkles, pores and scars ? Because right now it's just a block out, I usually make those details at the end when I'm sure the head is locked ^^
I started woking on the clothes on marvelous, I changed a bit the pattern of the jacket to be more historically accurate and to fit this picture I'm using as a reference (I think it's also the reference used by the concept artist)
Still a lot of work to do !
