HK416 Assault rifle [WIP]

Hi,

After successfully baking my maps in Substance Painter I'm just starting to paint the textures. Here's what I have so far:

Yeah man looks good, you could get some nice results if you played with the roughness a bit more, looks a tad to uniform.

Thanks for your feedback jaker3278, I will definately be adding some wear and tear to the model. Since this is the first modern weapon I've ever made, I'm trying to figure out the base materials and colors.

I think you are pretty close, its well modeled for your first go, next one will be even better.

Some more progress: I've added some tiny grain as well as some subtle imperfections to the roughness of both the metalic and plastic parts. I guess the next step will be adding some oily spots and fingerprints. The barrel and magazine need more work, they are looking quite boring right now.
