Best way to retopologize a bunch of meshes that come from a CAD program?

I've got a bunch of models that come from a CAD program.

I need to make them workable, so I can sculpt on them and add more detail.

The meshes look like this:





Note how they are separate elements. I can weld all the vertices and get one solid element, but the mesh flow is still awful.

I don't have a lot of experience with ZBrush, but from what I've seen can be done with the various tools, I'm kind of hoping something like this would be easily doable within that program?

If not, what are my best options?
