Answered: "Reset to Default" just deleted all of my brushes

As the title says. I wanted to remove a few brush categories I was testing b/c I didn't like them, so I clicked "reset to default" and now they're all gone.
I tried reinstalling the entire suite, I tried reimporting each category by hand - it works, but they're all gone again when I restart 3do.
Anytime I start 3d painter, this is what I see:
I import one of the categories by hand, and it's great until I restart, and which point I'm confronted with no brushes again. I've tried 'Save category' and that doesn't work.
How do I fix this?
