Hi Guys,
After posting
this thread, I got a lot of great advice and, since then, I've been trying to improve.
I thought it might be a good idea to create a sketchbook here, since the critiques i've received so far have been so constructive.
Here's a few things I did recently, and after that I'll be updating on a regular basis:
This was an exercice in stylization, since I often find my work to be boring and without humor.
A 3d + photobashing concept that I did for my portfolio.
My attempt at doing a hidden object type background.
Recent plein air painting I did in gouache, I'm hoping these will do some good for my color and environment painting skills.

Exercice: adding an object into an existing photo. I added the Mercedes. Sorry for the overall ugliness of the thing, it was purely a technical exercice.
A little sketch of an automatic delivery truck.
Couple of thumbnails for a randomly generated theme, before going to sleep.
Assignment for Sam Nielson's Lighting course, for the chapter on water.
More plein air
I wasn't posting for a while because of vacation, but now I'm back on my regular schedule.
This started as a render with blender's freestyle, which lets you add lines, I then took it to Photoshop and did the rest of the drawing.
