Hello polycount members!
Almost a month ago, me and my friends, made a small 3d contest. This was a pure fun factor contest, just so we can have fun and make something for portfolio. Contest theme was: Star Wars Prop. Everyone pitched in and the pot is 100$. Winner takes it all
Rules: 5-10k polys, 2x2k maps and rendered in game engine (marmoset). Also, no over-paint or any PS manipulation, except color correction and adding Star Wars logo.

Look at the technology that exists in the movies. It isn't all made out of shiny lights and lightsaber beams EVERYWHERE.
Anyway, don't take it hard, I know you're just having fun.
Good feedback and I totally agree. Will post it to other contest members.
I guess it happened, because at the beginning, we ware 10 artists and later 6 of them folded, including the real star wars fans lol
I made the turbine and to be honest, not that big of a star wars fan hah.
Still, everyone learned a lot and made something for fun. In the end of the day, it is the most important thing.
