1st Question are you going to use it solely for work or will you be gaming on it as well? If you are going to be working and gaming on it I would recommend you look for something with i7 Processor, GTX 1070 16 Gb Ram. The processor is what is really being used the most in Sculpting and Rendering. With regards to brand, it really doesn't matter anymore, my work provided us with Msi laptops they are nice. I would also take a look Alienware, I know alot of people will say they are over priced trash, but if you actually take the time to look their prices are very competitive now days. Asus ROG has decent laptops as well, I started out on one of those.
In order of Importance I would say these are the specs you should look out for.
1080p/1440p IPS (or similar) display, make sure it has a good display since you are going to be stuck with it, and using it in non ideal conditions.
Make sure the storage make sense, a 1tb HDD and a 256-512gb m.2 SSD is the ideal minimum I'd suggest. Laptop HDDs can be extra slow so an SSD is basically a requirement.

Good luck on finding a new laptop though.
