You could add 2 plane meshes and give them a separated material, and set the second one to 2 sided, and opaque.
On one side of the glass , you want it to be covered by the glass and to show the glass normals and roughness. And on the another side, you want to show the roughness and normals of the "mask". So having 3 planes makes sense and it would work nicely..

I was thinking with UE4 material editor, that way it is more convenient to implement.
