[WIP] Samoan Ukulele Player - feedback welcome

Hi! I don't do art as much anymore and I'm trying to get back into it so I'm looking for a little feedback.
I'm trying to create a stylized Samoan character that saves the world by playing the ukulele. I took inspiration from the Disney Infinity toys. I know there are some things wrong with but I don't know exactly what. He looks like two different people from the front and from the side. I think maybe it's because his head appears to be two different sizes.
I was going for overly exaggerated proportions but I don't know if I'm completely succeeding at the moment. Any advice would be great!
