I would really like some crits to push this to the best piece it can be, I feel that I am lacking in the lighting so if anyone has any pointers to help me that would be great. i am also open to crits about anything on the project. Here is what I have so far. Everything that is grey is still block mesh.

Maybe you could try to make the walls a bit less flat
But yeah, it needs more detail in the stonework. It might be good to think about how those arches are created. Were they built using poured concrete, probably not. It's more likely that they would look something like this.
I agree with needed grass colour variation.
As for the wall you could just add some geo. Or, if you want to use tessellation, why not just using vertex colour to remove any displacement where the seams are? However if you remove displacement at the corners it defeats the purpose of using it to get a nice silhouette doesn't it?
I like your grass, looking good maybe a little bit too lush but i like it.
I would bulk up the chains on the Gibbet, you cant really see them and it looks like its floating, they would hold up some big guys aswell as the cage so would be bit chunkier.
love the work so far
Here is a quick paintover example.
The question you should ask though, is what do you want to tell with that picture, so far it is pretty hard to understand what is the focal point. The gibbet maybe? Then make it much darker to help contrast with the brightness of the sun, and use to pathway to draw a line to it. this is just an example, I hope it helps
Thanks for all the help guys
